tp-analytics
tp-analytics is an internal advertising analytics application operated by Top-Plant.
What is tp-analytics?
tp-analytics is a private, internal reporting tool used exclusively by Top-Plant’s own marketing and analytics staff. It has no public-facing product, no customer-facing features, and is not sold, licensed, or offered to any third party.
Purpose of tp-analytics
The purpose of tp-analytics is to measure the return on advertising spend (ROAS) for Top-Plant’s own Google Ads campaigns. It does this by automatically combining three data sources that Top-Plant already owns and operates:
- Advertising cost — campaign spend, clicks, and impressions from Top-Plant’s own Google Ads account, retrieved via the Google Analytics 4 Data API and (where required) the Google Ads API.
- Website traffic — anonymized session, add-to-cart, and purchase-event statistics collected from Top-Plant’s own e-commerce stores through a self-hosted server-side tag manager.
- Order revenue — order totals from Top-Plant’s own internal order management system.
The result is a per-campaign, per-store profitability report used only inside Top-Plant to decide how advertising budget should be allocated across our own stores.
Who operates tp-analytics
tp-analytics is built, operated, and used exclusively by Top-Plant. Top-Plant is a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business operating online stores that sell strawberry seedlings and other plants across European markets.
Data and privacy
tp-analytics does not collect any personal data from website visitors or customers, and does not display any content to the public. It only processes aggregate, business-internal data that Top-Plant already owns and controls:
- Advertising cost and performance figures from Top-Plant’s own Google Ads account.
- Anonymized, aggregate on-site traffic statistics.
- Order and revenue totals from Top-Plant’s own order database.
No data processed by tp-analytics is published, sold, shared with, or made accessible to any third party. All data is stored locally on an internal Top-Plant server and is accessible only to Top-Plant’s own staff.
